Thematic issue to explore some of the methodological and theoretical issues raised by the coming together of Internet, religion and spirituality and to provide interesting case studies. Church in Cyberspace

27-29 January 2010 in Aarhus, Denmark. "Church in Cyberspace" is one of the subthemes of the international conference Church and Mission in a Multireligious Third Millennium which is hosted by Aarhus University. This section welcomes all papers examining the relationship between church, mission and the new media, especially the Internet. How do the new media affect the ways in which the church operates? What impact do secularization, globalization and multireligiosity have on the church in cyberspace? Does the Internet offer new alternatives to traditional approaches to mission?
